UNO is in Play with Gamestation - Wednesday 5 March 2008

UNO has become an approved main contractor and supplier for Gamestation. So far, UNO has undertaken shopfitting works at Gamestation’s outlet at One Stop Shopping Centre in Perry Bar, Birmingham, in addition to working at Leith, Edinburgh and Halesowen. The work involves all aspects of shopfittings including partitions, suspended ceilings and decoration, through to the installation of counters and floor and wall merchandising systems. UNO worked very closely with Gamestation’s delivery teams to keep to a very tight programme.

Gamestation were so impressed with UNO’s service that they have now also awarded UNO’s Joinery Manufacturing Division a batch supply of shop counters to produce over the coming weeks. UNO is also working with Gamestation on prototyping and developing special displays which will then be rolled-out to specific stores.

UNO Interiors’ Business Development Director, Nigel Gibson, said: “Gamestation are a very exciting new client for UNO. Their retail space is unlike anything we have worked with before, as their customers are such a specific demographic. We identified Gamestation as a client with an excellent potential for growth, a synergy which matched UNO’s strategy. We look forward to assisting them in their roll-out plans for 2008.”

Gamestation’s Property Project Manager said: “We were very pleased with the quality of UNO’s workmanship and the professionalism of their team. They are responsive to customer demands, and we are looking forward to working with them in the future.”

UNO Interiors is Head and Shoulders above the Competition

UNO Interiors has completed the interior fit-out of the new Headmasters hairdressing salon on John Dalton Street in Manchester.

This was a big contract for UNO Interiors - a new client with a very high specification and high expectations of UNO. We are delighted to report that these expectations were met and even exceeded by all of the UNO Group divisions (including UNO Construction and Joinery) that were involved.

The job involved a total rip out and refurbishment of the ground floor and basement areas of the existing store. The refurbishment entailed walls, ceiling, porcelain floors, air-conditioning, and full electrical and plumbing installations for 15 seats.

Off the back of the successful delivery of the salon at Manchester, UNO Interiors has been awarded three more sites for Headmasters, in Brighton, Sutton, and Paddington, where work will begin in the New Year.

Project Manager, Mark Clarke said: “working with this young, fast-growing franchise group has been a very rewarding experience. The very high-specification finish, with Headmasters’ position in the market as a luxury, quality brand has been an exciting challenge.”
